I want to learn more about farming and sustainable living. I am interested in a healthy way of living and cultures. I love to share and learn from each other.
Yaakunah Tulum is center for the exploration and integration of mind, body, heart, and spirit – we aim to offer groundbreaking retreats, workshops and tours along with innovative work in the arts, farming and sustainability within a 8000m2.
Located at 19,2km in the highway Tulum-Coba in the outskirts of mayan village Macario Gomez.
A retreat and wellness center created by and for artists, travelers, healers, creatives and professionals from around the world who see this project as a place to gather with the aim of sharing and develop their human potential through a mix of art, expression and healing traditions to promote deep change in self and society with nature as a setting.
We work toward the realization of a more just, creative, and sustainable world, seeking answers to questions unlikely to be explored by traditional means. within time form a vibrant residential education program and sponsoring pioneering initiatives and offer personal, spiritual, and social transformation programs for residents, interns, and workshop participants.
With the aim to reinvest the global community that support us each year we have created a summer volunteer programs in which we welcome talents and new ideas for continued innovation in the project.
Our program goes from early March to late October and the activities range from gardening or construction to web design and management improvements.
We offer housing and 3 meals, mostly vegetarian, in exchange for the 5 hour labors made by the volunteer in a 5 day week basis.
We recommend you to bring your towel, sheets and personal needs as sleeping bag or mosquito net. Use only bio daily care products.
We welcome individuals with a specific project in mind that could suit our needs, so for apply to our volunteer program you must send us a email describing your experience and aptitudes, as well as what you intend to gain with coming to Yaakunah Tulum.
