We are locate in a privileged location in a extension of
32 hectares of unspoilt by the shores of the largest natural lake
in Mexico "Chapala"
Our center currently under development, has as its mision experiment
and disseminate techniques and alternative life in balance with the
ecosystem and the creatures that inhabit.the place only account with
solar power, composting toilets, filters for re-use
our gray water, the buildings are made with natural system and materials that
provides us the place. earthbags or superadobe, thatched roofs, mud
walls and stone, recycled materials and hands of many volunteers from
different parts of the world experienced an our center and have made
possible our project
Volunteers work in different activities depending on the season and
projects to be taken at the time of your visit, but worked mostly in
bioconstruction and maintenance of our place and the organization of
our workshops.
The minimum and maximum stay is 2 weeks and the place working 5 hours
a day for 5 days a week
Volunteers will cook their own food (vegetarian), and sleep in our
igloos or camping ground
During the free time volunteers can use our kayak, hike through the
woods or visit the neighboring communities: Ajijic village, Chapala
city, Guadalajara city, Mazamitla villege, Mezcala Island, Alacran
Island.
