In my life now I work on several farms on the coast of a small town in Northern California and a cozy hostel in an old Victorian home. The main farm I work on is an organic flower farm in small town on the coast of Northern California. Here I work in the fields hoeing, weeding and harvesting as well as making bouquets for the farmers market and store orders. I also work at a pasture raised animal farm for meat and dairy. Goats, lambs, cows, pigs and turkeys are the animals I help take care of. My farm duties are feeding the animals and moving their pens when they need fresh pasture. The last farm I am involved in is an herbal medicine farm for teas and fresh herbs sold locally.

My involvements that I have recently delved into are natural building, living closer to the land (off- grid living), herbalism and homesteading. I love to cook and gather with friends through home made meals. I like to be involved in the healing arts and am a visual artist of different mediums. I am hoping to learn Spanish, so I would be happy to practice with others : )

I am searching for a project that is community oriented and has elements of creativity, art, sustainability and working with/having mindfulness of the land. I'd like to use travel as an opportunity to learn about life elsewhere, the traditions of cultures passed on from one generation to the next and hope that ithis can be an exchange of knowledge and heart, stories and sharing of laughs and delicious meals.
