What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I'm looking for an awesome experience that will involve hands on work. Ive spent the last few years teaching elementary school students and now I feel like it is my turn to begin learning from real life experiences. My parents both migrated from Mexico at an early age and I feel like my heart needs to go back to explore what my parents left behind. Although I don't know much about farm work, I enjoy working hard and being able to see positive results. I look forward to working with farmers in the near future!
Hey Cesar... I have never done work through WWoof, but my friend has.My friend and I are currently living in Oaxaca (Tlacolula exactly) and waiting on a third friend to join from Long Beach. We are looking to get going in early October as well. All I can say is to make sure that you get all the information you can from each farm. Some can be somewhat cultish...
We are heading out in early October to farms in the Yucatan and then South into Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, etc.... If you end up down this far let me know! Always good to meet new folks and my friends are awesome guys. Peace and good luck!!
