I worked on a small produce farm in northeastern United States, and taught aquaculture in Zambia. I have been a vegetarian for 20 years, and understanding my food sources is extremely important to me. Hi Katrina.

Thank you for your message.  We have some space available in September, but we need to know the exact dates you plan to stay with us as soon as possible.

I read that you have some experience in aquaculture, it would be nice to get some tips from you for a small scale project that has been circling my mind.

Here is a link to a page on our blog, at the bottom is a PDF file which you should both read carefully.  It contains a lot of useful info, as well as rules and regulations that apply on site.

Thank you again, and hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Lino~

Thank-you for your reply. Am I to understand from the PDF that volunteers need to pay 65USD each day they are there? I was under the impression that WWOOFing was free, and that price is double what I pay per day to live in a US city? I just want to be sure I understand everything.

I taught fish farming (tilapia) in Zambia for 2 years. I am knowledgeable about construction, management, and harvesting. I will do a little research on aqua cultural differences between Zambia and Mexico. The available flora will obviously be different, as well as available fingerlings, and possibly harvest cycles.

I will let you know as soon as possible exact dates!

You need to be following WWOOF Mexico to send them a message.
