Often people romance the idea of living on a remote ranch in the middle of nowhere but seriously folks--this is sustainability at its best and it is hard work. Slow food, building with earthen materials etc..not a quick run to town either--8 hrs round trip on foot (30 miles). So please, if you want to come here commit and stay the period of time that you committed to--because someone who wanted to come here was denied the ability because you were taking the space.
We are training horses--tanning hides, building adobe stoves, rock patios and gardening this week..and just got to do a real cattle drive the 15 miles to town. But remember--if it all sounds great--it is hard work and we eat what the locals do--beans and tortillas!!
