What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I've done some organic gardening on a very small scale, and I've taken some classes about energy use and social change and I'm constantly studying the current trends and am very excited to start some hands on work.

I'm very interested in differences in ecology and practices of farming in different parts of the world. I love being outdoors, working with nature, and doing my best to ensure a balanced, sustainable world.

Hi Carmen, Sorry for the delay in response. We should have room during August and September here at Whitt's End. Our most recent wwoofer departed just today after spending nearly 3 1/2 months with us. I expect to have one other person here from Mid July through mid September. I am looking for help inside and out. Inside in the cheese kitchen, meal organizing & preparation and light cleaning, outside with the goats, chickens planting projects as well as fencing and shade development to name a few projects. You should have enough free time to enjoy the virtually vacant beaches just down the road. This is the warm time of year so no wet suits required. Light cotton clothing shade hat and plenty of sunscreen is recommended. We look forward to hearing more from you, Warm regards, Lisa Whitt
Great, let's do it. But before you book the flights, I want you to completely understand that August and September at the hottest and most humid months of the year in Los Cabos. We move at a much slower rate and spend a lot of time not working during the hot day. All is accomplished in the early mornings and early evenings. The beach is 2 miles down the road an easy walk or quad ride, but even there you will want to use the shade of the palapas. The water temps are in the mid to upper 80s during this time of year. Also understand we are truly in the middle of now where, No stores, or restaurants or places to spend money for 10 miles in either direction & an hour to town on dirt roads. Lastly, if you hope to improve your Spanish, you should have ample time to work on this with some of the local rancheros, we are expats and hablar Ingles aqui en el rancho. If this sounds like something you would enjoy let me know when I can pick you up from the air port in San Jose Del Cabo. I am at the Pedregal in the hills above Cabo San Lucas at the only organic farmer's market that goes through the summer on Saturday mornings and early afternoon. Our milking schedule is 7 to 8 ish AM and 6 to 7ish PM. Keep in mind the hour to town. Any other time is fine. Hope to hear from you again soon, LW

Thank you for your interest in our project and even more for wanting to participate. the dates you want to visit are very good because at that time we have an international volunteer from 1 August to 15 in which we have much work and your help would be very good.
