What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I have had experience with sustainable development through my work in an environmental NGO in Kenya for 12 months, where we conducted projects to teach sustainable fishing, harvesting and income-generating methods to impoverished communities. Amongst other things we constructed a greenhouse, a solar dryer and smiking kilns for the preservation of fish. We also educated and helped these communities to establish a market for their fish and produce. In 2013 I wwoofed in Mexico, Yucatan and engaged in the planting of seedlings, composting, the construction of a greenhouse and beach clean-up.

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I have studied the bachelor in mechanical engineering and am therefore also interested in sustainable technologies and would be happy to assist in such projects around the farm. I am interested to learn more about organic farming, as I wish to do this on my own piece of land in the future.
