What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?: It will be my first time working with organic agricultural and sustainable development. But I grew up in the countryside and I helped for one month at a vineyard in germany.

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?: Hallo, guten Tag and buenos días I am 24 years old and currently working as a german teacher for kids in Chicago, USA. This program ends end of october and after that I would love to explore central- and southamerica with all its culture, people, language, food, everything :-) I grew up in a village in east germany. Today I always appreciate it when I am back to nature, surrounded with plants and animals, earth and sky. I used to ride horses, took care of dog and rabbits. My family used to have a own garden, so we cooked with natural ingredients and in our freetime we spend a lot of times at a lake. Of course I enjoy the city life as well. I moved to Dresden, Germany for studying occupational therapist, so I got a lot of experiences with healthcare and therapie for disabled persons. Later on I used to be an Au Pair in Washington DC, USA. After that I worked for few weeks in a hotel and in a vineyard in Gemany before I moved back to USA again. I am always happy to learn and to try new things out. My co-workers and friends describe me as patient, flexible and empathic, trustworthy. But besides all that carreer things I love to live the moment with friends. If it is just spending the whole day at the beach or to explore the world, to hit the road to places we have never been. Also it is not hard for me to be by myself for a little while. I love to enjoy nice company from all around the world. My trip to central- and southamerica will be my first backpacking adventure. And I am very exited about it.
