Location: Rancho Nido de Aguilas, Mazunte, Tonameca, Pochutla, Oaxaca, Mexico. The land is on a hill between Mazunte and Ventanilla; At km 6 on the main road there is a earth road going up the hill, there is also a shield saying Nido de Aguilas; At the very end of this road there is an artificial lake which belongs to the Land.

Description of the farm: about 2 hectares. The climate is hot and humid. Dry season-Dec to May. Rain season: June to Nov. Average temp. is above 26 C°, temps of 40 C° + are possible. We have a lake, a tree nursery with fruit trees like mango, lemon, coconuts, starfruit, jackfruit, breadfruit, zapotes, black cherrys, guayabas, guache, anonas and papayas. We  plant maize, pumpkins, watermelons and beans. 

Work required from WWOOFers:

Help at the construction of buildings, the lake, contour lines or the river bed. 

Building with clay, watering, work in the garden, weeding, mulching, preparing fields, maintenance of the nursery, harvesting and pruning. Gathering fire wood, cooking and cleaning communal areas.

Accommodation & meals:

We have wooden platforms with roofs above ground with mosquito nets. We provide 3 meals/ day. Food is vegetarian, mostly vegan.

Not permitted at our farm: alcohol, non organic food, trash to waste away (plastics, batteries, etc…), sun protector (we use clay), use of non 100% organic toiletries.

Languages: Spanish, English, Portuguese and German.

No minimum or maximum length of stay.

Long clothes (mosquitoes), natural repellents, mosquito nets.
