Dear Dolores,
My name is Shuang (Vanessa), and I am a 23-year-old who recently graduated from university. My boyfriend Théo and I are looking to travel through South America from January to June of 2018; we are currently living in Seattle, and are planning to stay in Mexico for a month.
We became interested in your farm through your description on the WWOOF Mexico website. We are very interested in learning about the brewing process at your farm, and would be happy to help with cooking (we both cook a lot at home and love to cook). Of course, we are also happy that the farm is close to Mexico City, where we definitely want to explore.
Both Théo and I speak English and French, and are learning Spanish. In the past, I have had some experience farming in southeastern China. I also have experience doing construction work, building wooden structures, and lifting supplies. My boyfriend, who is from South of France, has an extensive knowledge with agricultural produce (fruits, vegetables, etc.). we are both easygoing people who are willing to learn. We would like to work on your farm for three weeks if that works for you – mid-January to beginning of February. We can certainly discuss specific dates once we have decided on an agreement.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you.
Best,
Vanessa & Théo
iHola!
My name is Catherine Cazayoux, and I'm from Vermont, USA, where it is unfortunately cold and snowy right now, so I’m excited to come to Mexico and to hopefully get some farming done! I'm a freshman in university studying crop and soil science, and I have a strong interest in ecological agriculture and seeing how different farms go about practicing it. I don’t have much hands on experience farming, but that’s why I’m doing this! I'm looking for any opportunity to gain some experience/wisdom, and am eager to learn and contribute what I can! I love being outside, getting my hands dirty, and working hard! I'm going to be flying into Mexico City on December 30th and will be staying in the country until January 20th. I read about your farm on the WWOOF website, and it seems like you've got a really awesome thing going! If you're accepting people on the farm, I would love to come spend a couple of weeks there. My Spanish is a little rusty, but I think with a little bit of practice it will come back quickly! Let me know if you think this might work out! I’m excited to be able experience Mexico and Mexican culture, and hopefully your farm too!

We two girls do yoga, love to paint, work with other people and children, to cook and to spend time in the environment. I speak german, english and french, my friend german, italian and english. We help my mother in her garden and take care of our pets! :) I am a vegetarian and love animals with all of my heart!

Hola ;) I would love to come work for you in early September, if you have the space & inclination. It would be my very first wwoof experience, but I can promise you that I live to learn and serve! Your farm sounds lovely, and I feel like I'd be a great fit. I have (very) basic Spanish and gardening skills, but I hopefully make up for it in passion to get better every single day. Please contact me at chocodogg@gmail.com or on here or however you prefer. Thanks so much!
