Me - 51 yrs Currently the Executive Director of a nonprofit. I have been at this position since 2001 and helped start it in 1998. Although I studied graphic design and had my own freelance biz I got into this as a volunteer and it basically evolved into a job. I love it, however it is time to move on. I bring with me all of the skills that I have learned from creating a budget for a $400k a year nonprofit, fundraising, managerial, etc. Other things I am good at: gardening, community organizing, graphic design and generally making things happen. I am looking to do something different for a time while I explore what I want to do next as far as a career. I have ideas that I need to research and make progress on before taking the next step with. Edlen/my husband - 55 yrs He currently works at a berry harvesting company servicing the machines that pick raspberries and blueberries. He has been there for two years. Before that he worked for a wholesale flower/plant grower. At that job he was a mechanic servicing all the vehicles needed - from the fleet of trucks to the small engine machines. His other skills include guiding, ceramics/pottery, is a trained chef, avid outdoorsman, certified welder, canoeist. Both of us a well traveled and used to living frugally. We have traveled extensively in Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala.
