What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I currently work as a nurse in Minnesota, US. I love learning about sustainable living. I have found that volunteering on WWOOF farms is a great way to travel, learn about organic agriculture and have a great time.
Thank you for your interest on coming to our farm. you will be welcome to come, this is a very busy time of the year and we get many request from Volunteers from other organizations, so please let me know some time before your arrival to organize times and dates,
here you have some more informations about our little Farm.
Flexible work schedule: volunteers usually work 4 to 5 hours a day, 5 days a week.
Work detail includes: cleaning of common grounds,watering plants, bathing animals, cleaning animal pens,planting, harvesting fruits and vegetables, and whatever else needs to be done to maintain the integrity of the farm.
We provide purified water for drinking, food stuffs(based on a vegetarian menu-Organic) that you must cook to your liking.
The following thing are available if needed: hammock,inflatable bed,sheets,blankets.
Personal things we suggest you bring:
personal toiletries(towel,toothbrush,toothpaste,deodorant),
MOSQUITO repellent,comfortable working shoes(cover toes and support feet),sandals,flashlight,tent if wanted,hat(protection from sun), sun screen,sunglasses,long pants,long sleeve shirt.
