What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
None, but it is something I'm very interested in. I am hoping to learn something new, in a new place - that will be fulfilling and educational! I like the idea of being close to the earth, doing something sustainable and practical to living a hard-working, healthy and meaningful life.

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I am currently living in southern California and tend to a backyard garden with some fruits and vegetables. I've always enjoyed working closely with the earth, and grew up spending much time in nature, with the ocean, and in the garden. My education and work background are in journalism and photography which still interests me but I am hoping to reconnect and figure out where I'd like to go next spiritually and career-wise. My boyfriend who has quite a green thumb and similar motivation for work travel will likely be joining me on this hard-working adventure, his profile is pending approval. My interest in wwoofing is motivated by an interest in sustainability, learning a new skill set, and the desire to be close to the earth, away-from-home-adventuring without spending the fortune I don't have :) I am friendly, hard-working and know a little Spanish. I love kids and animals.
