What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I have worked as a caretaker on a large property on the coast of France (Poitou-Charentes region, near Royan) for the last 2 summers. For 5 months at a time my partner and I have helped with the following: gardening (weeding, raking, watering, planting), housekeeping, light construction (fences, vegetable patches), heavy construction (digging trenches for and installing a security light system all around the property), pool maintenance, and the painting of outdoor structures. We have taken care of both the land (many vegetable gardens, fruit trees, herb gardens, flower gardens) and the animals (pony, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, dogs).

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
My boyfriend and I will be travelling Central America for 14 weeks starting November 1st 2010. We are both very keen to get involved with WWOOF farms, mainly for the experience of working with locals, helping with community projects and meeting new people, but also to save some money along the way. I am a massage therapist and my partner is a primary school teacher.
