I have worked with children in an award winning garden. I still have a lot to learn, but I am a hard worker and I dont mind getting dirty.

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
My name is Brittany Moore. I am currently in the process of transferring to Berkley University in California. I will be taking the next 6 months to explore Mexico and learn how to live a more sustainable life style. The main things to know about me are that I love to dance, eat great food, learn new things, and surround myself with conscious, fun loving, good hearted people. I want to learn about sustainable living from a first hand experience to strengthen my skills as a community organizer. I work with young people of color in schools, and one major component lacking from our education system is knowledge about real food and where is comes from. I want young people to know that we can never be free from an oppressive system until we can feed ourselves, and I want to help give them the tools to accomplish this. I hope to meet great people and learn valuable skills while I travel and that is why I want to WWOOF.
