Thank you for contact me. First of all, it is great that you want to do a volunteer in Mexico. I think it is a great country where you could learn and know different kind of people.
Talking about my experience, I couldn't do my volunteer in Nayarit. I tried to contact all the WWOOF farms that I liked, and some of them didn't replied me and others replied me later because they were on vacations. At the end didn't entered to any farm because I found another thing to do, it was too late the response.
On the other hand, the best way to travel there I think is by bus. There are really great night buses, where you can sleep or another way to get there is by plane, from Mexico City to Puerto Vallarta and from there a bus to Sayulita. I think both of them are great, but everything depends on the price hahahaha

I can't give you any insight into their farming operation because I haven't been their. I guess I just added the farm to my favorites. Sorry about that.
