What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I have worked on the policy side of sustainable development and food systems, and I would love to be part of the process first-hand. I am so excited for the opportunity to travel, learn about diverse cultures, and work outside. I have set up an organic garden next to one of the residence halls at my university, and in the cooperative I currently live at, cook using only organic foods. My closest friend has been working on an organic farm in central California for the past 4 months and I have gone to visit multiple times. I have learned so much about organic farming in just the short time I have spent visiting.
