What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I have no experience in organic or sustainable living but I grew up on a farm where we all helped in most aspects of fruit and vegetable farming. This included planting, weeding, fertilising, machine operations, picking, pruning, thinning, packing and selling at the farm or at markets.
What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?
Learning about sustainable living and agriculture
What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I have been a vegetarian for most of my life. I love traveling and would like to learn more about organic and sustainable farming and utilise my skills for my future back in Australia. I have had a long term interest in experiencing living in Central and South America. I would really like to learn more about the culture by getting out of the tourist-driven areas and meeting locals. I am currently working and traveling in Canada and will be in Central America around August-October 2014.
