What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I am finishing undergrad in May 2016. I will have a degree in social work and counseling psych with a minor in education. Before I start working full time and deciding if I want to pursue grad school, I want to get out of Boston and see more of the United States and Latin America. I have no experience working on farms. I grew up in Missouri and driving through Illinois seeing rows and rows of corn and soy. I am interested learning what and how other foods are grow.

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I have had at least two jobs during all four years of undergrad, at least one has always been in education, working with children in some way. I am in the Big Brothers mentorship program, I am a nanny and I work in the day-care center of a gym. In college I was the captain of our cross-country team. I am not the fastest runner, but I was organized and motivated. I enjoyed being on a team with people all committed to early practices and long runs. After high school I worked for two-years for a non-profit organizing and prepping for community service projects. We organized light construction projects, we built benches, picnic tables, planter boxes, did basic landscaping and painted murals. I am comfortable with power tools and on ladders and working until a job is finished.
