What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I have been growing a small organic container garden outside my Philadelphia apartment, but admittedly have a lot to learn about the field!
What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?
Learning about sustainable living and agriculture, Getting to know Mexico better
What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
First off, I am fluent in Spanish (I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guatemala from 2002-2004 and have been working in Latino communities ever since). Currently, I work as a School Counselor in a Philadelphia public school, and am therefor available to work from late June until mid August every year. I'm looking for an opportunity to learn as much as I can about organic farming, composting, managing livestock, and any thing else that comes with managing an organic farm. Once I have a bit of guidance, I'll work both hard and intelligently, and will hopefully prove an asset to your farm.
