What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
4 years working for NYC Housing Development on the financing side of affordable green building developments. Week-long training and certification in Costa Rica in Introductory Permaculture. Basic back-yard and community space gardening, composting and water collection. Vertical hydroponic systems. As a child and adolescent I farmed in Iowa, detasseling corn, tending to livestock and transporting harvested feed.

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
During my time in New York City I've worked on multiple affordable green building housing developments (many LEED certified). I am also a staff volunteer for GreenHomeNYC a local non-profit dedicated to helping owners of small residential and commercial buildings adopt sustainable building methods and materials. I look forward to integrating the past 12 years of working in community development within the state of Colorado and New York City with a new skill-set in organic farming. Additionally, I have an intermediate level of Spanish skills that I gained through school and continue to use at work.
