What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I am a very passionate and hardworking person. I work as a poetry and art teacher in Birmingham, Alabama. I am an artist practicing in many different mediums including ceramics, comics, yoga, and cooking. During my year of service in AmeriCorps I routinely taught healthy family based cooking classes, and volunteered in community and school gardens. I have WWOOFed in Vashon, WA during 2014, learning a lot about vegetarian cooking and how not to get cut while trimming very sharp blackberry vines. I know a small amount about permaculture from spending time developing a few garden beds with a teacher at my own home. Mostly, I am looking to expand and share my knowledge of sustainable living to make my own dreams of living a long, healthy life possible!
