What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I worked regualarly on organic and and non-organic farms and gardens during my summer breaks from university.Ihave experience in cultivating vegetable gardens, composting, planting, pruning and working with livestock. I have also worked for a year in an Organic supermarket where i learnt more about the sustainable farming philosophy and practices.
What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?
Learning about sustainable living and agriculture, Getting to know Mexico better
What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I'm interested in learning how Organic food could be made more accesable and acceptable to the general public both here and inmy country. I think to do this i need to learn as much as I can about the different techniques people use to grow food sustainably. I hope wwoofing can be a chance to learn about farming techniques but also as an opportunity to experience the rural Mexican life, and to improve my spanish.
