What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?: I am a 5th generation farmer, I grew up on a farm in Southern New Mexico, it's in my blood. Though I have made a career out of helping youth at risk I have always dreamed of getting back to nature via farming.

What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?: Learning about sustainable living and agriculture, Getting to know Mexico better, Other

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?: I have started my own cause project, to help abandoned, neglected and abused youth throughout the Americas and to convey the importance of volunteering, I will do this one small project at a time. I have always wanted to live and work in Mexico so I am doing what I have always done, placing myself where I want to be, to meet people who will help me realize this dream. I also have a desire to learn the best way to build community around food and sustainable farming and educate and inspire youth with the social and community impact organic and sustainable farming has on local economies, community health and their surrounding environment.
