Profile Information

What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I have a B.Sc Degree in Agriculture from the University of Manitoba (Canada 2005), majoring in Animal Production Systems. I WWOOFed for an Organic Foods health retreat center in Canada, where we educated people about taking better nutritional care of themselves. Most of my agriculture experience has been working on conventional farms, which has led me to my strong belief that sustainable agricultural development IS organic agriculture.
What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?
Learning about sustainable living and agriculture, Getting to know Mexico better
What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I have worked on a fruit farm, grains, hog farm, chicken farm, dairy farm and even a pet store. I have also had employment doing research with animals and cereal crops. Agriculture is my passion, especially animal agriculture.

Hi, I noticed that you are a member of the farm in Santa Isabel, Chihuahua. Did you wwoof there? If you did, could you tell me how it was? Such as, how were the people, the living accomodation, the area, work, if you would recommend it, etc? I would really appreciate it.

Thank you,

Guillermo
