What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I have many years of experience in organic home gardening in varied climates and biophysical environments; one week WWOOFing in the state of Oregon (U.S.A.); a day slaughtering and packing pastured chickens; several years of volunteering on the distribution side of a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture); plus, personal investigation of small-scale sustainable farming and water-harvesting practices in the arid U.S. I've also owned, partially trained, ridden trails, and competed with my own quarter horse. I have a B.S. in Conservation Biology, have spent many years working in natural resources management, and am passionate about local food production and sustainable economies and communities.
