Profile Information

What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I have lots of practical conservation skills that I have learnt in the UK, such as coppicing, hedgelaying and building paths, steps and fences and have experience working on my family's allotment, growing fruit and veg. I spent some time rennovating and decorating a boat and am competent with hand tools. I can cook vegetarian and vegan food and am good at supervising and playing with kids and animals. I have volunteered as a teaching assistant in a primary school, worked supervising students in exams in a secondary school and have also done some youth work, organising festivals for young people to perform at. I am quick to pick up new skills and keen to learn. I have trained in first aid, leadership and basic counselling and have led groups of volunteers on practical conservation jobs. I am a natural at planning, designing and organising and, although I prefer physical work, am quite capable of using my brain! I have studied maths, physics and chemistry and, although I haven't used them for a while, would enjoy applying these to work.

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I really enjoy physical work, especially outdoors. I care about our planet and the people on it. I am friendly, funny, trustworthy and hardworking. I love dancing so much - it's like my religion! As a poet and photographer I am creating material for a book.

During my travels I hope to learn a lot about living in harmony with nature, through permaculture, organic horticulture and environmentally friendly building techniques and energy systems.


I plan to do loads of dancing and am eager to learn Spanish to a high level and ride horses in the mountains. I practise a little chi kung, meditation and yoga and would like to gain more experience in these. I would like to learn about, and maybe catch a glimpse of, jaguars and spend time looking up at the stars.

Hi Lucy, so are you either of the people in the profile picture?

How old are you.. are you bilingual ...where are you from ...what are your interests?

We are a family farm so I just want to be clear that there is no smoking drinking or drugs done here at the farm. We have a few young teens that can get pretty inspired for good or bad with cool travelers. It sounds like you are looking for a place to land to be near friends in Xlappa. If that is the case I don't think we are your best choice. As its pretty far away maby an hr or more from inside the farm.

There isn't much that is convenient about this place its really rustic camping and hard work with great air great water and beautiful forest. To be here is a challenge as it rains allot and there is no house to get warm and dry its camping in gomes they are yurt like tents.

If I haven't scared you off then lets keep talking tell me about what drives you.
