What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I have 3 months experience working (with wwoof) on an organic farm in Aveyron, France as a goat cheese producer, goat herder/milker/caretaker, organic gardener (greenhouse + outdoors), and market worker. I studied International & Sustainable Development at the University of Minnesota and am now looking to broaden my practical understanding of organic farming. I'm also interested in learning more about Mexican culture. I speak some French and Mandarin Chinese, and will be available to volunteer February thru August 2010.
What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?
Learning about sustainable living and agriculture, Getting to know Mexico better
What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I play the violin, love life, and enjoy spending time outside! I am a hard worker and enthusiastic about learning organic agriculture so that I can teach others. I would also like to learn some Spanish and meet like-minded people.
Madelyn:
Yes , we are interesting in receiving volunteers for a long period of time.
We have two projects running. One is the house-school-garden located 15 miles away from Guadalajara, the pictures you saw .
The other one is a farm in a big land by the mountains, one hour away from Guadalajara, where we have horses, trouts and chicken, and we want to start an organic garden.
So if you have clear the dates you will be comming, then we can put it in our calendar and make a plan.

We have 24 hr Internet access at the house. None at the mountain farm, but no problem, you can stay at the house then.
Keep in touch
