What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
My family has had a big garden for my whole life and before I went to university to the capital I used to help them around. I still help them sowing, planting and doing other work in the garden whenever I come home, that is every weekend. We grow pumpkins, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, carrots, lettuce, peas and other vegetables. It' s all organic, we only use home made compost. We also have some fruit trees (apple, chery, plum, apricot, walnut, hazelnut) and we make jam and compote from the excess fruit.
What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?
Getting to know Mexico better
What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I'm very positive and open mindid person, who loves to travel and meet new people. I'm a journalist and for the last four years I've been writing for newspapers and magazines about health and medicine. Since different cultures excite me, I decided to visit Latin America, where I'll hopefully improve my spanish. I like learning and gaining new skills and helping people along it just makes it a bonus. Love animals, good books, music and dance.
