What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I am studying a bachelor's degree in global studies where we are learning about sustainable development and I have always been very interested in developing my knowledge and skills in the subject. In the future I would like to live a selfsufficient life where I grow my own food, use natural energy and composts. I have seen a lot of organic colonies that have started to grow in big cities, which means that more people are interested in living closer to nature even if they don't live on a farm.
What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?
Learning about sustainable living and agriculture, Getting to know Mexico better
What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I have always loved nature and animals since I was very little and during my adolescence I was active in working for environmental rights . I have been a vegetarian for 7 years and have started to live on a vegan diet since a couple of months back, I always recycle and try to live as waste-free as I can. In my current studies I learn a lot about human rights, global challenges and diffrent cultures which interests me very much. I am fluent in Swedish and English, speak Kurdish almost fluently and I can also speak Spanish. I really want to improve my Spanish since it is my favourite language and I want to work i Latinamerica in the future after my studies. My other interests include reading books, watching or listening to documentaries, hiking and running and, traveling and meeting new people.
