What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I was raised working in our large family garden growing many different kinds of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and berries. We composted, water harvested, tilled and prepared new soil, pruned, and performed other general duties required to create and maintain and beautiful and bountiful garden. I'm aware that this isn't much experience but i do enjoy working hard outside in the dirt and greatly hope that I'm given the oportunity to attain skills pertaining to organic agriculture and sustainable development through hands-on involvement.

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
When I heard about this program through a friend and I instantly knew this was the change I've been looking for so I said goodbye to the monotony of daily life in Nashville, TN. I arrived to Mexico July 15, 2014 and I'm hoping to stay for at least a year. I have a degree in Rehabilitation Services where I worked with people with different disabiities mainly mental illnesses and have worked in the restaurant industry serving and bartending for many years. I love cooking and food so im excited to be introduced to native plants and cuisine from where ever Mexico takes me. I'm ready to challenge myself, meet new people and hopefully learn Spanish along the way!
