What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?: I have minimal experience organic farming but I have had the pleasure to grow organic vegetables, fruit and herbs in my community garden plot! What a dream it has been. Growing with my plot is a huge reason as to why I crave to enrich myself with more knowledge of plants and growing on a much larger scale. All while reaping the therapeutic benefits of having my feet and hands in the soil.

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?: Hola! My name is Stacy and I am thrilled to finally be on WWOOf! I am 24 years old and my passion is food! I have been in the culinary industry for over 7 years and have loved every second of it. A year ago I became vegan and it has brought so much light into my life. It has brought me closer to plants. I think that it is so important for us to know where our food comes from. Sustainability is very important to me and I am ready to take that next step in making a difference. To me farming is gratitude in its purest state. Working with the earth and the sky. Getting to know each plant. Learning from them. Growing with them. Growing food makes me feel so alive and there is nothing I'd love more than to be a woman who farms. I am interested in all of the above! From coffee, to cocoa to growing produce and processing that produce. building and spreading love! I hope to meet many of you and show the land so much love!
