What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I have been gardening as a hobby in several of my backyards in San Francisco. Over my four years of gardening practice and background, I have had success in growing winter greens including kale, broccoli, etc. I also have grown roots crops, beans, and several varieties of fruit trees. I love to garden, and I understand the importance of environmental stewardship. I recently graduated with a degree in Environmental Sustainability and Social Justice, and I closely follow the philosophy that was taught to me in school. I have volunteered with several community gardening projects such as Alemany Farm, and the Brooks Park Community Garden. As I gain experience in gardening, I continue to enjoy the wonders and self-fulfillment of organic gardening.

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I am developing my skills in speaking Spanish through a university course in San Francisco, as well as learn more about latin america's community and values. As a recent graduate, funds are tight, and WWOOF offers me the opportunity to travel cheaply. I plan to meet fellow travelers, and local residence of the rural communities I aspire to live in.
