What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
Our experience is extensive. We've run our own self-sufficient homestead and community farm for the last 7 years, helping/teaching more than 13 others to do the same. My wife has 12 years in trauma nursing (Registered Nurse), is an Herbologist, Fermentationist, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, and amazing wild forager, natural healer, and gardener. I am a general handyman, teach everything from basic rainwater collection, natural building, and up-cycling, but my passion is livestock management, animal husbandry, and regenerative food systems. I've built and run large aquaponic systems from scratch, managed production of thousands of animals from quail, chukar, pheasant, turkey, chickens, ducks, and geese, to 19 different heritage lines of pigs/swine, heritage cattle, alpaca, sheep, goats, rabbits, and even exotics like yak. I can run most heavy equipment, fall trees, mill lumber, run fence, and/or consult/teach any of the above.

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
We are omnivorous and Christian, but believe in diversity and honoring the path of all we come in contact with. We are accustomed to working intensive 12-15 hour days and not afraid of hard labor, by any means. We are considering partnering with some local farms (or even buying land internationally), so getting to know the communities is a big priority to us. When on other farms, we prefer to work condensed work weeks (2-3 long 10-15 hour days), then have time to explore and reach out to other farmers, but we're flexible, depending on your needs. We're also very interested in/open to the feedback of others-shoot us a note if you'd like to connect/collaborate.
