What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I have had a small garden before, mostly just tomatos. I worked on two farms through wwoof in Ireland in 2009 and got along with both of my hosts. Most recently I spent a week outside of Alajuela, Costa Rica picking limes and learning about compost. It was only for a week, so I didn't become an expert, but I do have a better understanding than when I started. 6 Weeks at Finca Inti near Puerto Viejo de limon in Costa Rica, processing spices.
What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?
Learning about sustainable living and agriculture, Getting to know Mexico better
What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I eat a Vegan Diet, but I don't mind what you do... this is just a personal choice. I don't pretend to know a lot about working on a farm, I am taking 5 months out of my life to learn better spanish and learn about organic farming. I am a generally polite and kind person. Both of these values I hold very high.
