Profile Information

What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I have been keeping my own garden for 6 years. For the most part, I grow vegetables but I also have a few fruit trees. I am very interested in learning more about permaculture and sustainable development. I am presently studying international development at McGill university and am excited to have hands on experience. while my program has been great theoretically, I am now looking at opportunities to work internationally and gain experience in my field! I am enthusiastic and responsible and hope to bring my knowledge and passion with me.
What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?
Learning about sustainable living and agriculture, Getting to know Mexico better
What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I am motivated, engaged and excited to learn from both farmers and wwoofers. I have spent time in university gathering theoretical knowledge about sustainable development and agricultural development, but I feel that it is now time to gain practical knowledge and to meet those who are directly involved with this field. While I may not have much experience, I hope to demonstrate my passion for development and love of the earth while working with others.
