What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
In short, very little. However, I have extensive experience with manual labor (warehouses, some specialized shop work). Aside from that, I've done a small amount of carpentry, and a great deal of restaurant work. In more detail, here's a list of jobs I've worked: cook's assistant, dishwasher, mover/painter, barista, server, sandwich maker, retail associate, fast food, and other manual labor jobs in a variety of situations. I love to volunteer in order to pick up new skills, and I'm always excited to help in whatever way I can. I'm interested in organic farming partly because I'm interested to see how food is grown all over the world (especially in sustainable, socially-conscious ways), partly because I enjoy hard work outdoors and meeting new people, and partly because I think it's the perfect challenge for me.
