Profile Information

What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
Growing my own organic vegetables in my garden, fruit picking on farms and helping a friend in his garden
What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?
Learning about sustainable living and agriculture, Getting to know Mexico better
What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I am a novice but very willing to learn and develop new skills. I am not scared of hard work. I hope to learn Spanish whilst traveling and volunteering in Mexico, Central and South America and am happy to help with others learning English. I want to use the knowledge I aquire to spread the word and encourage others to farm in eco/sustainable ways.I have limited experience apart from fruit picking, my own garden veggie patch and helping a friend out. I feel very strongly that farming practices need to change globally if we are to help our very vulnerable planet and would like to learn more about how to do this. I firmly believe that whilst individuals can't change the world single handedly we can make a difference if enough people try hard enough. I have worked additional jobs to save up enough to be able to do this job. When I eventually get back to the UK I will have nothing so I am investing a lot into this very important experience.
