Hi Ben,

I didn't get a chance to visit the farm due to a change in vacation plans. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but good luck!

Best,

Erin

Hi Ben,

We worked at the farm in San Juan Lachao which was a good experience in total. Fidel is the guy who runs the farm and he is friendly and not strict at all. You get to join in the proces of coffee making - planting, picking and sorting. Don't expect it to be more than just simple work.

It is really isolated on the farm and none of the workers speak english very well - so if you speak spanish its a good thing. Just be aware that you will not be able to get to any villages easily. But the surroundings are beautiful and you get to hike a lot! The facilities are not really neat but thats a part of the experience I think :)

Have a nice trip

Hello Ben,

I'm actually going there next week, I'll get back to the states on 1/28. Feel free to reach out to me after that if you'd like and I'd be happy to share my experience. You can email me at wlgrover@gmail.com.
