What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?: My boyfriend, Kevin, and I both grew up on small organic family farms. At our respective homesteads we raised cows, goats, chickens and more. We each have experience in planting and nurturing vegetable gardens with a wide variety of crops. Both of us became passionate in sustainable development during our college years and focused a lot of our studies on the subject. In addition to our respective childhoods, Kevin worked at a plant nursery for three years while Carly has volunteered at her school's organic farm project on a number of occasions. We both greatly look forward to utilizing and expanding upon our knowledge and skills in organic agriculture and sustainable development through WWOOF.

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?: My boyfriend and I are a friendly, hard-working, low-key (do not party), responsible, and adventurous couple who are looking forward to an experience working on an organic farm abroad! We met during a study abroad trip to Costa Rica during college. Now that we have both recently graduated, we are looking forward to living abroad for awhile before pursuing our careers. We hope to improve our Spanish skills, experience another culture, and expand upon our farming abilities. We speak Spanish fairly well and would love to be involved in the local community in some capacity, as well as work on the farm. We look forward to meeting you!
