What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I volunteered with HABESHA farms in Atlanta, GA. Through the volunteer program I learned how to make natural pest control using water and garlic and how to crop rotate. My volunteer work consisted of removing weeds, planting new plants/food, and watering the plants/food. I also learned about collecting and composting food. My auntie also has a garden that I helped her with. I gathered her fruits and vegetables and washed and clean them. I am very eager to learn more about organic agriculture and sustainable development.
