What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I grew up in rural Southwestern Virginia, U.S., and I have experience with gardening, chicken and goats, and several years with horses. I have degrees in environmental studies and Masters degrees in Urban Planning and Public Health, and I've been interested in urban agriculture and gardening for several years. I'm excited to get real experience in established and experimental sustainable farming techniques. I have been working in Washington DC for the past four years in disaster recovery and prior to that international development. I'm looking forward to a break from this work but am willing to apply whatever skills I can offer to any WWOOF farm.
What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I know some Spanish and want to learn to speak it well. I'm open minded, social and friendly and wish to work on farms and with others who are the same. I enjoy yoga and meditation. I love laughing, most importantly :) I also love the outdoors and going hiking, rock climbing or other adventures. I'm very respectful of the environment. Not afraid of bugs or animals (mostly).
