Hagia Sophia is an agro ecological development of more than 130 hectares (with a height of 260-390 m above sea level. There are several species of fruit, vegetables and timber trees, as well as a wide variety of wildlife and endemic species.

 In Hagia Sofía more than 400 plants with about 60 varieties originating from Southeast Asia and Central and South America coexist in harmony, forming a combination of exotic vegetation that represents the better of two worlds.

 There are more than 60 kinds of frutal trees, enhancing the production of mangosteen, rambutan and noni, different kinds of mangoes, bananas, passion fruit, lychee, tamarind, pineapple and soursop.

 The cultivation of all fruits and flowers develop in completely organic conditions, for it is has facilities and buildings for the production of our fertilizers, compost, vermicompost and organic insecticides and the pollination process is supported with an apiary consisting of 40 hives.

 Therefore within the tourism industry offer the walk through the path of flowers, we have 60 different varieties of heliconias from tropical regions of Asia and Central America as well as 200 varieties of flowers in the region at 500 meters long, giving a total of 10,000 flowers planted so far.

 As an additional attraction for tourists we have the Magdalena River flowing through the property with 2 km and a half on one side and one kilometer and a half from the other, forming small waterfalls within the property.

 We have parking for 15 cars, preparation area and food consumption for up to 50 people, the food is prepared is totally natural, and typical with products that we ourselves produce organically.

 We also have modern composting toilets, the project is based on a growth in harmony with nature, a totally sustainable development, and philosophy of Hagia Sofia lies in the care of the environment.
