Greetings I am interested if you are taking on wwoofers in March 09 and beyond.
What kinds of skills are you looking for to help with your goals and also what kind of work you will be doing then (spring/summer 09)?
Can you also describe the area a little and trends in organic gardening in the economy?
My name is Thomas, I am looking for a place to wwoof starting in early february for up to three months, and like the sounds of your community/farm. I have experience in both carpentry and some perma culture farming, but very quick learner, able bodied and mind, and seek more experience to help me along my goal to one day start my own farm. I'd appreciate any further information and hope to hear from you regarding my coming to join your family for a while,
I will be in Mexico City in as little as two weeks, and would love to travel to volunteer with you for 6 to 8 weeks if that is convenient.
I have recently joined WWOOF Mexico and look forward to being able to support the work of organic farms such as yourselves.
I have little experience beyond my own small vegetable patch at home but I am very willing and keen to learn and certainly not afraid of hard work!
At the moment I am trying to pick up some Spanish and hope to improve it during my stay.
I would really appreciate it if you could get back to me as soon as you can so that I can confirm dates in the next week or so,
thank you ,
Sophie

Hi, my friend and I are traveling through central and south america from the US with no real time obligations and we are looking for farms on our way down to stay with. We would most likely only stay a couple of weeks at a time, but as I said we aren't tied down on time so if you need us longer and/or we get along we'd love to stick around! What questions do you have for us and what should we know?
I look forward to hearing back from you soon.

Hello, I have read your online profile. At the moment I´m in Oaxaca. I would love to come an work on your farm (unfortunatly I can only give two to three weeks), to learn about your farm, meet people and improve my spanish. I will work hard on any project you give me. I have lots of experience working on a dairy farm in England, where I grew up. Can I come and work? When can I start?
Jane
Hola Armando y Anya,
My boyfriend, Jesse, and I are interested in working on your farm for two weeks starting around March 17th. We´ve been travelling around Mexico for several months by bike and car and working on wwoof farms. I´m from Austria and Jesse is from the US. I´m a marine biologist and love working in gardens and with animals. I also have a lot of experience with environmental education and built a native plant garden with chilfdren last summer.Jesse is a civil engineer and has a lot of experience building different structures like houses and solar panels. We´re both very hard working and would love to help with some of the projects going on at your farm.
Please let us know if you could use our help as soon as possible.
Thanks,
Eva and Jesse
I would like to volunteer for 4 weeks this summer. Ideally, I would like to begin work on 8/10 but have flexibility. Last summer I spent 3 months in Mexico living with a host family and spoke Spanish pretty well when I left. I love Mexico and want to improve my Spanish. I like working outdoors.
I've spent 15 weeks (5 in 2006 and 10 in 2007) working for the Northwest Youth Corps in Oregon, USA doing reforestation, conservation and recreation projects. This was a residential jobs training program. I lived as part of a team in back country primitive campsites, living in tents, cooking communal meals and sharing the daily responsibilities of camp life.
My goal in working on your farm is to get hands on experience in sustainable, organic farming. I would enjoy working with a committed team, living in a beautiful place and becoming more fluent in Spanish.
I look forward to your reply! Thank you for your consideration.
Your reply requested that I email you but it did not include an email address so I'm replying to the web site. Please advise if this one and the same.
I'm not sure how one goes about getting hired at any WWOOF farm or at your farm in particular. I am especially interested in Puetro Escondido!!! Of all the WWOOF locations in Mexico it is my first choice. Also I would prefer to work on a larger farm rather than on one with just a few other workers.
Do you hire workers sight unseen for a specific period of time? I would very much like to make a 4 week commiment before arranging my round trip flights. I can provide references from my forestry work.
After 3 months living with a host family in Cuernavaca last summer I left Mexico feeling confident of my ability to speak Spanish. I don't want to lose this skill. If I was selected to work at your farm I hope that I would be able to improve my Spanish skills.
By the way, my sister is 17. She has 1 year of high school Spanish. She has 10 weeks of back country forestry on the job training experience. If you would consider someone under 18 and might be interested in her she would spend the $20.00 to join WWOOF. If 17 is too young she'll wait until net year.
Please let me know how to proceed.
Gracias,
JD ( for John David) Breneiser
ola,
we are two travellers interested by collective living, heading south now in Tamipco. We have been on this trip for now about 3 weeks in mexico, we love to travel around but we want to create stronger friendship by living and helping out.
We have already knowledge in farming (from family of farmers), gardening animal care and beekeeping, and would like to share experience by helping out.We are also interested about auto construction with experiences in it.
We really want to work with our hands, and helping to build alternatives together.
Im am (antoine) really personally interested about alternatives in psychotherapy. I ve begin a work about it in france. And want to share experiences about it.
Let me know if you would like us to come to your farm we will be more than happy to do so.
please if you can let me know as soon as possible I would apreciate it.
thanxs and take care
