hello, i started woorking once a week about 3 hours, at a organic farm here in ABQ New Mexico as a work trade for food. the farm was call los poblanos organics , but now changed theere name to skarsguard farms. i started in spring of 2011 and til fall i would work in the feilds doing jobs such as weeding and harvesting. during the winter i worked in the warehouse doing tasks such as washing eggs, weighing a packaging produce, washing coolers, loading trucks, and sweeping. in march of 2011 i went to hawaii and visited a sustianable community for a month, i would help load compost and fertilize bannana trees, and load truck loads of soil for vegetable gardens. i also weeded a taro farm for a weekend. Then for the season of 2012 i did work trade for food at a organic biodynamic farm back in new mexico. agian i would work once a week for about 4 hours, plus a couple work parties on weekends. the farm is called erde gardens. worked there until spring of 2014. i did tasks such as, more weeding harvesting, clearing beds, processing fproduce, weighing produce, we did a biodynamic practice with a female cow horn stufed with dirt burried in the ground over winter and dug it out in spring and put the dirt from the horn in water and stirred it, then spread the water around the farm. so in may and june of this year i went to oregon and lived in a sustianable community called elion for a month, there i would work in the garden/green house planting, preparing beds, planting rasberry bushes. i would also clean horse stalls and groom horses. aswell as carry drinking water. so now im back in new mexico planning to travel to mexico and latin america and currently working a payed job at a homestead clearing beds, planting seeds in the green house, mowing lawns and helpng in the orchard, harvesting making apple juice and sauce. ETC...
