What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I started my own 80 sq/ft organic garden at my house last year. Before and during this undertaking I consulted with local gardeners and university students/friends studying permaculture for advice and assistance. I also do most of my produce shopping at farmer's markets because I value knowing where and how my food was produced. I have experience in construction, carpentry, landscaping and design.
What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?
Learning about sustainable living and agriculture, Getting to know Mexico better
What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I see knowledge of sustainable living techniques as not just useful, trendy, and responsible but as essential to survival. Becoming aware of my role in a larger system, a system that is destructive in nature, has made action on my part also essential to my survival. I can't think of a better way to gain the knowledge I need than with hands-on, WWOOFing experience. I've worked for two years in a mostly hispanic elementary school and I love teaching or just playing with kids. I'm also a pretty decent cook, although not as good as my girlfriend whom I'm traveling with.
Hi Tyler,
My name is Norman and I work with Victor @ the farm in Valle de Bravo, he asked me to get in contact with you for the possibility of having u and your girlfriend working with us. We have availability untill late october or november. We have two couples of WWOOFers with us already. What are your thoughts.

Hey Tyler, nice to here back from you. It would be nice if you could come and visit us and check out the possibility of you both staying with us in la casa en las nubes. If you could let us know a few day in advance when you can come and visit. You can take a bus from tasquena (df) to tepoztlan for around 80 pesos. Give us a call and well talk some more and see whats up. 01 739 3936297

Hello Tyler,
I've just come across your page by exploring the farms I'm looking into..I'm flying to Mexico City on the 24th, and I've never wwoofed before, although I have worked on farms here, in Nova Scotia, Canada. I'm preparing to wwoof in Tepoztlan to start out, and then I'd like to get to Veracruz, since I've heard this area is secluded and beautiful. How are you finding your experiences in Tepoztlan? I've also never seen Mexico- I'm so stoked!
Thanks, in advance, for any advice/tips.
Safe journies, and take good care,
Juele
