What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I have over 5 weeks of experience WWOOFing on an organic farm in Oregon. I have learned many skills specifically pertaining to organic food production using the 'no-till' method including sowing, transplanting, weeding, composting, pruning, and harvesting a variety of different fruits and vegetables. Other learned abilities include milking goats, panera cheese making, food fermentation and canning, using power tools, and preparing rooms and meals for AirBnB guests.

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I have visited Mexico several times for cultural and educational exchanges and have gained a great appreciation for its diverse landscapes and vibrant culture. I am eager to embark on a new WWOOFing experience in Mexico because I want to learn the techniques of farming in a hotter climate and wish to work on my Spanish.

My name is Ksenia and I have recently completed my Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Development Studies. Since then I have spent the first part of this summer WWOOFing in the US. I will be traveling to Mexico and plan to WWOOF in Baja California for one month or more starting mid-August. I am currently actively searching for a farm where I would be a good fit for this time period.
