Hi Lilith
We have a smal eco hotel www.casablatha.com and a property in a small mayan village www.ecopueblitomaya.com. We are developing organic orchards on both places. The hotel is located in holbox a small island in the caribbean very much preserved and where we want guest to discover the beauty of harvesting their own food. In the small village we are helping them adopting organic practices and creating a small comunity supported agriculture scheme. Let me know if you are interested?
I work in an agriculture businessyou can take a look at the site as well www.guayabe.com

Best Daniel

Hi lilith we will have some problems with the accomodations as we will only have room available for one person in each place. As I did hear from you Ian Before I thougt he was not coming. Let me know if you are still interested asap.

We are asking 1 week stay in each place minimal time but we could be flexible with that

Is there a phone where I can call you? I was thinking if you want to come with Ian and Dave you could come to Nuevo Durango instead. The accomodation is a little bit basic but it you are used to camping you will be alright. At nuevo Durango there is some contruction work, , help with the established orchards of the villagers and began a new demostration orchard near the cabin where you will be lodging. I could pick you up early morning from Cancun but I need to know your time asap. I hope this option suits you all.

Hi Lilith,
Nuevo Durango is 1:30 from Holbox. So it doesn t make sence for you to go to Holbox to then have to go back to Durango. I am at Cancun at the moment going to Durango on Wednsesday briefly and then going to holbox. So what we could do if you could hitchhike to Durango Tomorrow I could meet you there on Wednesday morning introduce you to what we have to do and so on. My only concern is that I have the key to the cabaña with me but I you can sleep for Tuesday night with Don Miguel (a friend of mine). My phone number is 984 807 8490.

To arrive to durango take the freeway to cancun (very important not to take the highway) until Nuevo Xcan which is the first village after the staline between yucatna and quintana roo. From there hitchike 17 km direction Coba. Nuevo durango is the first village. Don miguel leaves near the entrance.

PS: As I did heard from you I thought you were not coming so I offer the cabaña to my cousin family, it is not sure he will be going but if it is the case, I hope you don t ming sharing.

Hope to be able to talk to you to confirm

Daniel
