What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
Although I have no hands-on experience, I think organic farming and local food are important and I have researched and actively consume as ethically as possible. I was raised in a town full of fruit and vegetable farms, and a handful of livestock farms. Since growing up there, I have moved to Cleveland, an industrial city in the United States, and I have found that being in an urban environment makes feeling connected to the food I consume much more difficult. What I have to offer is my passion, my energy, and my work ethic.
What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
Writer, Teacher, and looking for ways to inspire my students and others to be better global citizens. I teach a nonfiction writing class in a public high school in Cleveland, Ohio, and this semester we did a research paper on the cultural and economic changes that have occurred in Mexico since NAFTA. Going through this research with my students has made me realize that in order to be the teacher I want to be, I have to push my boundaries and learn in different ways that I have pursued thus far.

A few considerations are that we are at this moment
Working in a rainforest in puxcatan tabasco which is close to tacotalpa tabasco. Also since its a rainforest im requesting from the volunteers to bring rain clothing equipment for work such a rubber boots raincoat and a sleeping bag.
I can lend u a tent as we dont have many acomodations but the place is beautiful.
